FREE programs for children at the Prince Rupert Public Library! Join us for preschool and afterschool activities designed to encourage a love of reading, creativity, and learning.

Registration: Registration is required for preschool programs. Register in person at the library or call 250-627-1345. Drop-in programs do not require registration.
Preschool Programs
Babytime Rhymes
30 minutes of rhymes and bounces, while bonding and socializing with your wee one.
- Ages: Newborns to 24 month-olds
- With: Parent or guardian

Tales for Twos
30 minutes of stories, rhymes, and play.
- Ages: 24–36 month-olds
- With: Parent or guardian
- Registration required
Story Hour
This hour-long program introduces stories and activities based on a variety of themes. Parents do not have to stay for class, but it is recommended that they remain in the library during the program.

Afterschool Program
Create & Make
Our FREE afterschool program is full of crafts, games, and LEGOs. Come build, create, and have fun with us!
- For: Grade 1 and up — younger children welcome with an adult
- Drop-in — no registration required
