03. Hand-Knit Hand Towel and Dish Clothes by Rosa Robichaud

These hand-knit cotton dish clothes and hand towel are wonderful neutral colors that would pair well with almost any kitchen. It's been paired with the New Kitchen Idea Book by Joanne Keller Bouknight.

02. Yukon Art Print by Ellen Witherly

This Yukon art print is by Mark Preston (Tenna 'Tsa 'Teh), of Tlingit and Irish ancestry, and features a winter ptarmigan. It has been paired with Seasons of the Arctic by Hugh Brody and Paul Nicklen.

 

06. Cookbook and Library T-Shirts by Ellen Witherly

 A visit to the beautiful library in Haines, Alaska this summer encouraged Ellen Witherley to support their Friends of the Library by purchasing these two shirts and cookbook. She's decided to help our Friends of the Library as well for offering them in the auction. The yellow shirt is large, while the sage green shirt is a medium. It's been paired with Give Smart: How to Make a Dramatic Difference with your Donation Dollar by Elaine Ricker Kelly.

01. Fire Flower Wall Hanging by Eunice Seidemann

"Fire Flower" is a 14" x 23"  wall hanging with optional driftwood rod that took fifteen to twenty hours to create. The leaves and flowers are 3-D, and the materials were donated and graciously accepted. Part of the inspiration for this work came from Quilting Arts Magazine, the subscription for which was donated by Adrienne Johnston.

05. Hand Knit Fish Skeleton Hat by Leah Cuthbert

 This knitted hat was made using 100% Peruvian wool, and took 10 hours and $10 of materials to create. Leah Cuthbert found the pattern online, and it made her think of Prince Rupert and the local book The Salmon Recipes by Luanne Roth. Makes sense! All I have left after a salmon feed is the skeleton!

04. Crocheted "Minion" Hat by Leah Cuthbert

 This crocheted hat features a minion from the Despicable Me series of movies, and two minion books are included. Leah Cuthbert made the hat because she loved the movie and the hat pattern made her laugh. She spend 10 hours and $20 of materal to make the work, and paired it with the book Choosing Civility by P.M. Forni to make sure no one becomes too despicable.
